PaPreciousVang: How do you solve for an angle when you are working with trigonometry ?
you use inverse trig.
For example if
sin(theta)=3/4 then
inverse sine (3/4) = theta
inverse sine (3/4) might look like
sin
-1(3/4)
[Don't confuse inverse sine with a power of -1 . It looks the same but it means something completely different.]
or
asin(3/4)
a stands for arc which means the same as inverse
In your calc you probably need to press
2nd function
sin to bring up this function.
