m<A = (1/2)(arc BC - arc BD)         arc BD  = x

14 = (1/2)(112 - x)    multiply both sides by 2

28 = 112 - x         add x to both sides, subtract 28 from both sides

x  = 112 - 28 =  84°

y = (1/2)CD

And CD  =  360 - BC - BD  = 360 - 112 - 84  = 164

So

y = (1/2)(164)  = 82°
