By how many degrees does the measure of an interior angle of a regular octagon exceed the measure of an interior angle of a regular hexagon?

Interoir angle of a regular polygon  =  [ n - 2 ] *180  / n     where n is the number of sides

 

Octagon  =  [8 - 2 ] * 180 / 8  =     3/4  * 180  =  135°

 

Hexagon =   [ 6 - 2 ]* 180 / 6  =  (2/3) * 180  = 120 °

 

So....the interior angle of a regular octagon exceeeds that of a regular hexagon by  15°
