Fyodor and his three sons, Ivan, Dmitri and Alyosha, are standing exactly on the corners of a rectangular room. Fyodor is 8 meters from Dmitri and 15 meters from Ivan. What is the minimum possible distance that Fyodor could be from Alyosha, in meters?

A very interesting problem, indeed. Since we know that Dmitri and Ivan are next to Fyodor, who do you think is diagonally across Fyodor? What is the length of the diagonal of this rectangular room? Can you go from here? :)
