Consider the prism shown below.
Find the surface area of the prism...
Top surface =10 * 17
Bottom surface = 8 * 17
Sides = 2* ( 8 * 6) = 2 * 48 = 96
Back = 6 * 17
So....the total surface area =
17 [ 6 + 10 + 8] + 96 =
17 [ 24] + 96 =
504m^2
