In the figure below, ABCD is a parallelogram, AD = 18 and DC = 21. Segments EG and FH are perpendicular to sides of the parallelogram as shown, and EG = 16. What is the area of the parallelogram?

The area of a parallelogram is A = Hight * Base so the Hight in the parallelogram is EG = 16 and the base is DC = 21 so to find the area it would be 16*21 = 336. So..... the area of the parallelogram would be 336
