Find the area of triangle ABC if AB = BC = 12 and angle ABC = 150 degrees.

If you know the lengths of two sides of a triangle (a  and  b) and the size of the included angle(C),

you can find the area by using the formula:  Area  =  ½·a·b·sin(C).

 

Area  =  ½·12·12·sin(150)  =  36
