Part of Question 1: The slope can be found by y_2-y_1/x_2-x_1, so for line AB, the slope is -7/4.

BC slope  =  [ 4 - 3 ] / [ 3 - - 4]    1 / 7

CD slope  =  [ -1 - 4 ] / [ 6 - 3 ] =  -5/3

AD slope  =  [ -1 - - 4 ] / [ 6 - 0 ]  = 3 / 6  = 1 / 2
