very easy:12:4=3 that means that you need three in the ()! only 6-3=3 = m=3

[input]4(x - 3) = 12[/input]

4(m - 3) = 12
4m-3*4=12
4m-3*4+3*4=12+3*4
4m=12+3*4=12+12=24
4m/4 = 24/4
m = 6
