Simplify as

 

-5x^2 - 6x + 10

 

We have th form   ax^2 + bx + c

 

The x coordiante of the vertex =  -(b) / (2a) =   - (-6) / (2 * -5 )  =  6 / -10    =  -,6

 

The y coordinate is   -5(-.6)^2 - 6(-.6) + 10  =   11.8
