The graph of y = f(x) is a parabola whose vertex is at (1,-2). The graph of y = f(x + 4) - 3 is also a parabola. Where is the vertex of the graph of y = f(x + 4) - 3?

The new vertex  is shifted  4 units  to the left and  3 units  down  from the original vertex....so....the new vertex is

( 1 - 4  , -2 - 3)   =

(-3 , -5)
