Hi Guest!

We start by isolating the y term:

6y + 2x - 2x = 12 - 2x

6y = 12 - 2x

Now we divide both sides by 6:

6y ÷ 6 = (12 - 2x) ÷ 6

y = 2 - x/3

Writing it in the slope intercept form:

y = -1/3x + 2

I hope this helped,

Gavin
