Assuming that both lines drawn to the circle are tangents.......two radii drawn to the points of tangency will form two right angles.......and the central angle intersecting this minor arc will = x°

 

So......this will form a quadrilateral ......and the interior angles of a quadrilateral sum to 360°....so we have

 

[ 90 + 90 + x + x ] =  360

 

180 + 2x   = 360     subtract 180 from both sides

 

2x  = 180      divide both sides by 2

 

x = 90°
