I have 2000mls of 30% orange Juice. I now add 750mls of water. what is the percentage orange juice now?

 

Well  30% of 2000ml = 0.3*2000 = 600ml of juice     That does not change

 

So originally there was  2000-600 = 1400ml of water

After 750 ml of water is added    there will  be  2150ml of water and still   600 juice

So there will be a total of 2150+600 = 2750ml of drink.

 

% juice =  600 / 2750  *100    %        approx =    21.8%
