Use the quadratic formula.

Since it's already 6 hours, might as well hint a bit.

 

My latex is a bit sluggish so forgive the frac sitting there.

 

\(x=\frac{-(-2)\pm\sqrt{4-4/frac\sqrt{3}/2}}{2}\)
