We have two points (4, 4) and the x intercept. ( 3, 0)......we need to find the slope....so we have

slope  = m  =  [ 4 -0 ] / [ 4 - 3 ]   =  4/ 1   = 4

So....using the slope and either point - I'll use (3, 0) -  slope-intercept form is

y = mx + b

First.....write in point-slope form

y - 0  = (4)(x - 3)

y  = 4x - 12

And that's point-slope form
