Given g(x) = (1/2) ^2x

g(-1) = I found : (1/2) ^2*(-1) = -0.25

2. Given f(x) = e^3x, evaluate the following. Round your answer to the nearest ten-thousandth.

A. F(-2)

B. f( - 4/5)

C. f(2)

Please what I am supposed to do with the E ???

Assuming that the "x" is part of the exponent, we have :

(A)  f(-2) = e^(3 * -2)  = e^(-6) = 0.0024787521766664

(B) f( -4/5) = f(-.8)  = e^(3 * -.8)  = e^(-2.4) = 0.0907179532894125

(C) f(2)  = e^(3 * 2) = e^6  = 403.4287934927351226

cool cool cool
