Midpoint Formula: (x, y) = [(x1 + x2)/2, (y1 + y2)/2]

Plug in the numbers and get (1.5, -1).

  Midway between   x = -4    and   x = 7    is   x = 1.5

  midway between y = -3    and y = -5    is   -4

(1.5, -4)
