What is the total capacity of the aquarium tank, in gallons?      

 

Two gallons of water raises the level from 1/6 to 2/6,     

which means that 2 gallons accounts for 1/6 of a tank.     

So, it would take 12 gallons to account for 6/6 of a tank.
