In the SuperLottery, three balls are drawn (at random) from ten white balls numbered from 1 to 10, and one SuperBall is drawn (at random) from ten red balls numbered from 11 to 20. When you buy a ticket, you choose three numbers from 1 to 10, and one number from 11 to 20. 

 

If the numbers on your ticket match at least two of the white balls or match the red SuperBall, then you win a super prize. What is the probability that you win a super prize?
 

I'm quite stumped on this question as this may not be correct but there are 4 ways of "victory,"

you either get 2 white balls with no red ball, 

get 3 white balls with no red ball,

 

get 2 white balls with a red ball,

 

get 3 white balls with a red ball,

 

get 1 white ball with a red ball,

 

get 0 white balls with a red ball.

I may be incorrect, can you please help me?

There are 9 possible numbers for the first ball, then 8 possible numbers for the second number, then 7 possible numbers.  There are 9 possible outcomes for the SuperBall, so the answer is (1200 - 9*8*7 - 9)/1200 = 687/1200.
