i dont understand how to do these, so a little help would be great!

a. the formula F = 9/5C + 32 gives the Fahrenheit temperature F in terms of the Celsius temperature C

Transform the formula to find the Celsius temperature in terms of the Fahrenheit temperature

b. use a calculator to find the equivalent Celsius temperature for a Fahrenheit temperature of 60 degrees. round your answer to the nearest tenth

a)  F = (9/5) + 32   subtract 32 from both sides

F - 32 = (9/5)C      multiply both sides by (5/9)

(5/9)(F - 32)  = C

b) So we have

(5/9)(60 - 32) = C

(5/9)(28) = C  = about 15.6° C

btw its 9/5 (fraction) multiplied by C... not 9 over 5C
