Which of the following numbers is the smallest? Your answer is the letter in front of the smallest number.  A. 14.45001 rounded to the nearest tenth.   B. 14.54999 rounded to the nearest tenth.  C. 14.44999 rounded to the nearest tenth.   D. 14.55001 rounded to the nearest tenth. This isnt HW btw

Rule for rounding to  nearest 10th.....look at the 100ths place....if its  4 or less keep the 10ths digit

If it's   5  or greater  round the 10ths place up by 1

 

So.....using this rule :

A =  14.5

B =  14.5

C =  14.4

D =  14.6
