suppose that f(x) varies directly with x and f(x) = 160 when x = 5. what is f(x) when x = 0.5?

Options
16
32
160
180

I'n not sure, but if it is a direction variation, than

160/x = 5/0.5

x = 16

16 will be my answer, but I'm not sure.

We need to find  the variation constant, k

We have that

f(x)  = k(x)

160  =  k (5)      divide both sides by 5

32  = k

So  when x  = 0.5, we have

f(x)    = 32 (0.5)   =  16

Just as  Supermanaccz  found   !!!!
