The numerator of a positive fraction is 2 less than its denomination. when both the numerator and the denominator are increased by 3 , the new fraction is greater than the original one by 1/18. Find the original fraction.

\(\dfrac{n}{d}=x\\ \dfrac{x-2}{d}=x\\ d=\dfrac{x-2}{x}\\ \dfrac{x-2}{\dfrac{x-2}{x}}=x\\ \dfrac{(x-2)+3}{(\dfrac{x-2}{x})+3}=\dfrac{19x}{18}\)

\(x=\dfrac{28}{29}\)
