=(sqrt(26)-ix) (sqrt(26)+ix) (These are complex factors)

I am asuming you MEANT  x^2 + 36x - 10

 

You can use the quadratic equation to fin the values of 'x'

 

(-36 +- sqrt(36^2- (-40)) )/2 =  .2756 , -36.2757

Then factored it would look like this:

(x - .2756)(x+36.2757) = 0
