You can treat the ">" as an equal sign, and then apply algebra.

\(-(1-x)>2x-1\)

Expand the brackets on the left side.

\(-1+x>2x-1\)

Add 1 to each side.

\(x>2x\)

Minus x from each side.

\(0>x\)

x must be less than 0
