We also use radians. Just as there are 360 degrees in a circle, there are 2pi radians in a circle. Compute tan pi/3.
Just the answer: \(\sqrt{3}\)
To convert rads to degrees :
rads * 180 / pi ....so we have...
pi / 3 * 180 / pi =
180 /3 = 60°
And
tan (60°) = √3 = tan (pi/ 3 rads )
