Find the Equation of the line that passes through (-3,2) that is perpendicular to the following: y=-3/2x+1
The slope of the given line = -3/2
So....the slope of a perp. line will be the negative reciprocal = 2/3
So...we have, using (-3, 2)
y = (2/3) ( x - -3) + 2
y = (2/3) ( x + 3) + 2
y = (2/3)x + 2 + 2
y = (2/3)x + 4
