The equation  of the  line  is

y  = (2/3) ( x - - 18) - 12       simplify

y =  (2/3) ( x + 18)  - 12

y =  (2/3)x  + 12  - 12

y = (2/3)x

To find the x intercept, let   y  = 0

0  = (2/3)x       multiply  both sides  by (3/2)

0  =  x       =   the x intercept
