Leah is buying curtains for her bedroom window. She wants the curtains to hang from the top of the window to the floor. The window is 4 feet high. The bottom of the window is 2.5 feet above the floor. What curtain length should Leah buy?????

Try drawing a picture of the wall, with the window. Put the dimensions in the correct places. I think that you should be able to work this out yourself now.

Since the curtain has to be the length of the window to the floor, then 4 ft (height of window) plus 2.5 (distance from bottom window to ground) is 6.5 ft. So the curtain length is 6.5 ft
