A meteoroid changed velocity from 5.3m/s to 2.8 m/s  in 0.3 seconds. What is the acceleration of the meteoroid ?

-2.5/0.32

-2.5/0.09

-2.5/0.09 = 27.7777777777777778

m  /  s2

So the acceleration of the meteoroid is -27.78m/s2

Hope this helps!

Acceleration = change in velocity/change in time

                   = (vf - vo)  / time

              a  =  (2.8 -5.3) m/s / (.3 sec) =  - 8.333 m/s^2
