ik im annoying asking LOTS of questions but please:
What is the slope of a line parallel to the line $2x - 4y = 9$ Express your answer as a common fraction.
2x - 4y = 9 subtract 2x from both sides
-4y = - 2x + 9 divide both sides by -4
y = (-2)/(-4)x -9/ 4
y= (1/2)x - 9/4
In the form y = mx + b.....m is the slope...so.....the slope of a parallel line is 1/2
