divide (3y2 - 27y)/(-3y)

 

I got this answer but I'm not sure if it's correct

-y + 9

You could check your own answer like this: does the product

( -3y )(  -y + 9 )

get you back to where you started, viz.,

 $${\mathtt{3}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{{\mathtt{y}}}^{{\mathtt{2}}}{\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\mathtt{27}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{y}}$$    �👍👍
