Let y = (x-3)/((x+7)

Then this equation can be expressed in the form (x + a)(y + b) = c  for some constants a, b, and c .  Enter your answer in the form " a, b, c".

Thanks in advance.

xy + 7y  = x-3     after  multiplying both sides by  (x+7)

x - xy - 7y -3 = 0

(x+7)(-y+1) = 3 +7      multiply both sides by -1

(x+7)(y-1) =  - 10

take it from here !    cheeky
