Given that the point (4, 7) is on the graph of y=3f(2x)+1, there is one point that must be on the graph of y=f(x). What is the sum of coordinates of that point?

Plugging in x = 2 gives y = 3f(4) + 1.  Since f(4) = 7, y = 22.  So the point that must be on the graph is (2,22), and 2 + 22 = 24.

you're dumb. Its 10. You are bad at math 3f(8)+1=7. Therefore, f(8)=2.
