A rectangular tank measuring 1.2m by 0.4m by 0.2m is filled with water up to 4/5 of its height. A pail with a capacity of 1.3 litre is used to scoop water out from the tank. If no water is lost during the process, find

(a) the maximum number of 1.3 litre-pails that are fully filled.

(b) the amount of water that is left in the tank.

V=1.2×0.4×0.2×45V=0.0768
    m³  are in the tank  = 76,8 litre

76.81.3=76813=59.0769230769230769
     You can fill  59   1.3 litre-pails .

76.859×1.3=110=0.1
        0.1 litre = 100 ml = 100 cm³  is left in the tank.
