A) Use the Law of Cosines: AC² = AB² + BC² - 2·AB·BC·cos(B)

AC² = 3² + 7² - 2·3·7·cos(50^o)

B) Use the Law of Sines ...

First find the size of angle(B) ---> angle(B) = 180^o - angle(A) - angle(C)

angle(B) = 180^o - 61^o - 43^o = 76^o

BC / sin(A) = AC / sin(B) ---> BC / sin(61^o) = 8 / sin(76^o)
