SQ : QT  =  5 : 2

 

x coordinate of Q   =   -2 + (5/7)(5 - -2)   =   -2 + (5/7)(7)   =   -2 + 5   =   3

 

y coordinate of Q   =   -6 + (5/7)(8 - -6)   =   -6 + (5/7)(14)  =  -6 + 10  =  4
