All of the statements are true!  So the answer is in fact "A, B, C, D".

     a  is a multiple of 3     say 9

     b is a multiple of 6     say 12        a - b  = -3    is NOT a multiple of 6    is NOT a multiple of 2

                                                             b IS a multiple of 3     and a-b IS a multiple of 3
