how do i solve this? x^2-12x+41=5

 

\(x^2-12x+41=5\\ x^2-12x+36=0\\\)

 

You need two numbers that multiply to +36 and add to -12

they are  -6 and -6


\((x-6)(x-6)=0\\ x=6\)
