slope of Line A   =   [ y2 - y1 ] / [ x2 - x1 ]

slope of Line A   =   [ -7 - 8 ] / [ 1 - 6 ]

slope of Line A   =   [  -15  ] / [  -5  ]

slope of Line A   =   3

Line A is perpendicular to Line B and Line C is perpendicular to Line B. Since Line A and Line C are both perpendicular to Line B, Line A and Line C must have the same slope.

slope of Line C   =   3
