The volume = (1/3) Area of the base * height
The base is assumed to be a square so its area = (6m)^2 = 36m^2
The height is given by : sqrt [slant height ^2 - (1/2 of the base)^2 ] =
sqrt ( 10^2 - 3^2) m = sqrt (91) m
So.......the volume =
(1/3)(36m^2) ( sqrt (91) m) ^2 = (12 m^2) (sqrt ( 91) m) ≈
114.47 m^3
Thank you again, @CPhill! You have once again helped someone in desperate need! I think I can say on behath of all of us that we all appreciate the help you give us! You keep being you!
Thank You Very Much
