A toy factory designed a new container in the shape of a rectangular prism that is 20 centimeters tall with base dimensions of 4 centimeters by 8 centimeters. What is the volume of the new container, in cubic centimeters?

Okay, Sr. Ma'am, this kid needs help and it seems like they don't know how to solve this. Just help them, because you're answer is fairly obvious.

The formula that you would use for this would be \(l *w * h\) where \(l\) and \(w\) are the dimensions of the base and \(h\) is the height of the rectuangluar prism, or how tall the container is.

Plugging the numbers into the formula, we get:

\(4cm * 8cm * 20cm\)

Solving this, we arrive at the answer of \(640cm^3\). (It would be cm^3 because this problem is asking for the volume. Think 3 for 3D.)

Hope this helps!!!
