What does H equal in this equation : -4+3(h+1) = 3(h+1)+h  Also what is the process that you did. Thank You:)

-4 + 3(h + 1)  =  3(h + 1) + h

Notice that you have the "3(h + 1)" term on both sides. Subtract it from both sides:

        -4 + 3(h + 1)  =  3(h + 1) + h

             - 3(h + 1)  =  -3(h + 1)

--->   -4                 =                   h

 

So your answer is:  h = -4
