Help pleasee

Hayley: Yor are a bright girl, at least in Math. I have seen you solve difficult simultaneous equations before, so I know you can do this one with ease. So, by just looking at it, y should be=2.

When I graph it, there are two "U"s.. 

Maybe my scientific caluculator is messed up?

Try graphing it on "Desmos graphing calculator" and see what you get.

I'm on that right now :/
