Given the function f(x)=3x^3+2, find the value of x so that f^{-1}(x)=4

Note that  if    (4, x)    is on the original graph of f(x)  then   (x, 4)  is on the inverse

This implies  that

f(4)  =  x   ....so....

3(4)^3 + 2   =  x  =   194
