how you do this is you plug the number x equals into the equation.

When x=4, the inequality looks like this: 4 + 4 < 2(4) - 3

Simplify: 8<5

So when x=4, the statement is false.

When x=-2, the inequality looks like this: -2 + 4 < 2(-2) - 3

Simplify: 2 < -7

So when x=-2, the statement is false

Do those steps over for x=7 and x=9.
