This is the writing problem for my homework that I'm having trouble with. Can anyone help me with it?

Find all real solutions of $x$ in

$2(2^x- 1) x^2 + (2^{x^2}-2)x = 2^{x+1} -2 .$

I never asked for a direct solution (though I wouldn't say no to it). I'm just asking if anyone can help me with it since I don't know what to do.
