Use quadratic equation: a=10, b=-7, c=-6, have you not learned the quadratic formula? Search it up, this problem is extremely easy, giving the answer would be funny. this is systematically solved problem

In Quadratic Formula      for  this quadratic    a = 10    b = -7     and c = -6

\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)          becomes

\(x = {7 \pm \sqrt{7^2-4(10)(-6)} \over 2(10)}\)      which will give you two values of x which are the 'roots' or ' zeroes'  of the equation.....

The quad formula is  fine.....I always like to see if  I can factor, first, before resorting to the "Q"....

(5x - 6) ( 2x + 1)     =   0

Setting each  factor to 0  and solving  for  x produces

5x  - 6   = 0                      2x  +  1   =   0

5x   =  6                          2x  =  -1

x =  6/5                          x  = -1/2

cool cool cool
