Using the Quadratic Formula    with a = 7    b = 1     c = -5

\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)

roots are   x=0.776739            x=−0.919596

( .776739 -4)(-.919596 - 4 ) = .....................

(a-4)(b-4) =

ab  -4a - 4 b + 16

-5/7   - 4 (-1/7)   + 16

-5/7 + 4/7 + 16 = -1/7 + 16    = 15 6/7
